June 28, 2002 dinner with an old friend I just got back from having dinner with a friend I've known since we were like 3. We met cause our dads work for the same company -- and still do. For like 25+ years, I think. Then we went to elementary school together. Yup, first through eighth grade. He knew me back when I wore huge eyeglasses and had braces. Oh, the horror. Anyway, it was really cool to see him and catch up (we both left sunny southern CA after high school-- he went to NYU and I went to CAL) -- we had a great laughing at the memories of our younger selves. Ah, good times. Hmm... plugging Amy cause she's stalking me over here in CA. Just kidding -- she's on vacation and she's like, seriously, 30 minutes away from me. :) Posted by Kel at 12:14 AM &. C O M M E N T S.Heh. I have friends like that. But then again, I'm only 15. But a lot of my church friends I've known for awhile. We've known each other since forever, and it's hilarious sometimes--all the stuff we've been through. From pushing each other into lakes to laughing about memories when a friend of mine got a leech on his foot. It's all lovely. Hehe. It's great that your friendship lasted for so long.
