August 1, 2002 carmen and robyn My two best friends are coming up to visit this weekend! It's weird, the three of us don't talk or see each other often (mostly cause I'm bad at keeping in touch and I live on the other side of the state), but I feel like they'll always *know* me. I mean, sure, I have friends from college but they're not the ones who saw me through my "growing pains" -- all the awkward moments that, as hard as you try, you can never really forget. They're the ones who stood by me when my mom passed away, gave me moral support when I had my first real crush on a boy, and hugged me tight as I was leaving for college.
