June 23, 2005 veronica mars Finally got a chance to watch the pilot of Veronica Mars. And I liked it (but is it just me or does Kristin Bell remind anyone else of Allison Mack?). :) I even managed to get Rob to watch the episode with me. Too bad I already know what's going to happen by season's end... I guess that's what I get for reading my friends' thoughts on the show when I hadn't even watched a single episode, lol. Anyway, does anyone have any idea why in the world UPN is airing the season out of order?!? I don't understand. Rob and I almost watched the second episode saved on our Tivo until we realized it was episode 6. And the most recent episode aired was episode 10. %$#@! I guess I should download the episodes we're missing? Guh. What a pain. Anyway, yay for VM! I'm glad I hopped on the bandwagon. Countdown: 2 weeks until Hawaii! Posted by Kel at 11:05 PM &. C O M M E N T S.I just started watching Veronica Mars and like it, but I didn't realize they are airing it out of order. It is hard to watch the episodes when everyone was writing their thoughts on them in their blogs and you know what happens. Sooo annoying. :/ KB is actually a good actress and once Veronica's character develops a little (and her hair grows!), the Veronica=Chloe overtones fade. I've said to other people who caught the show late, there's so much gloriously nuanced subtext for both the killer and rapist that it's almost more fun to be able to clearly pick out the clues first time around. :) Posted by: Nicola at June 24, 2005 12:38 PM Kristen Bell and Allison Mack were the first connection I made too. Totally alike, especially with Veronica as a journalist. But she does develop her own personality. I don't know why UPN is airing only some of the episodes. the only reason I can think of is that they don't have time to air all 22 or they don't want to I guess. It's dumb. I'm downloading the other episodes anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.
