July 29, 2007 happy things Back in high school, my best friend Carmen used to give me the 14,000 Things to Be Happy About daily calendars because I was constantly making myself sad. I had a hard time going through adolescence with just my dad around so I always complained and made my life seem even more depressing than it was. I haven't entirely grown out of that phase. :P Sometimes I'll catch myself making a bigger deal out of something than it deserves (a good example would be wedding-related stuff) so I force myself think happy thoughts. Tonight would be such a time... 5 Happy Thoughts I'll get around to posting Harry Potter thoughts... Someday. :) Hope everyone has a great week! Posted by Kel at 11:48 PM &. C O M M E N T S.Bah, I'm the same way! I wallow in my misery and, as you know, it's not healthy. ITA with you about work. I'm not sure what it is, but I've been bad about coming in on time lately.... I hope this helped you out a bit, Kel. There are always a few things that make up for the bad stuff, right? Posted by: Reen at July 30, 2007 10:58 AM Aww Kell...just wanted to send you happy vibes from socal :) Posted by: Carmen at July 30, 2007 11:35 AM Sending you some positive thoughts! I wish I could send you some warm cookies though. Posted by: Sarah at July 31, 2007 12:11 PM I'm the same way, Kel. I get all mopey and what I call "in a blue funk" sometimes. Then it goes away and I'm better :) Hope you are too! Posted by: Alie at August 1, 2007 11:10 PM &. P O S T A C O M M E N T. |
