November 11, 2007 tv update Is it just me or is this TV season kind of... blah? I haven't been excited to watch my shows in the same way I used to be. I think the only show I really look forward to each week is Gossip Girl. I mean, Chuck and Reaper are solid but don't really inspire the same giddiness I used to have when watching shows like Alias or Buffy, Heroes and Grey's Anatomy just aren't the same anymore, and let's not even talk about Smallville. And with the writer's strike taking place and reruns to look forward to for an undetermined amount of time... I just don't see the season getting any better. HOWEVER. One Tree Hill is coming back in January as a mid-season replacement and I am *ridiculously* excited, especially after finding this season 5 preview about Brooke. :D I think the "fast forward" is going to be AWESOME. I just started watching OTH on SoapNet and hope to get caught up in time for the January premiere! I just cannot get inspired for any of my shows. Even favorites from last year, like Heroes, are doing nothing for me. I don't know why. the only tv shows that i'm always really excited to watch are gossip girl, the office and brothers and sisters. the rest of the schedule is just bah for me. Pushing daisies is really cute but i don't know how much is going to last the cuteness. maybe because of this lack of interest on US tv shows that now i'm watching Bristish tv shows. The only show holding my attention right now is How I Met Your Mother. Reaper is a close second!
